Hollywood actors are now installing bulletproof glass in homes and hiring armed escorts for public appearances, reflecting growing concerns over safety.
Bollywood celebrities are taking unprecedented steps to protect themselves from rising threats. Many high‑profile actors have begun fitting bulletproof glass in their residences and offices, a measure that offers an extra layer of protection against potential attacks.
In addition to reinforced windows, a growing number of stars now employ armed security teams for public events, film premieres, and media appearances. These escorts are trained to respond swiftly to any hostile situation, ensuring the safety of the actor and the crowd.
Industry insiders say the shift is driven by a series of high‑profile incidents that highlighted the vulnerability of public figures. While the cost of such security upgrades is significant, the peace of mind they provide is deemed worth the investment.
The trend is expected to spread across the entertainment sector, with producers and talent agencies increasingly factoring security into contract negotiations and event planning.
