During Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia's event in Gwalior, protesters displayed black flags, leading to a clash with supporters and police intervention.
During a public programme of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia in Gwalior, a group of demonstrators unfurled black flags, signalling strong opposition to the minister's presence. The protest erupted at the Kushwahas Student Hostel where a land‑filling ceremony was taking place.
The display of the flags quickly escalated into a heated confrontation between the protesters and Scindia supporters. Both sides exchanged verbal and physical blows, with reports of kicks and punches being thrown.
Local police forces moved in to separate the two groups, using crowd‑control measures to restore order. The situation was brought under control without any major injuries reported, and the rally resumed after the police cleared the immediate area.
Authorities are reviewing the incident to determine whether any legal action will be taken against those who instigated the violence.
