BJP’s ‘Sita’ rallies in Dungarpur on final day of municipal election campaign

On the last day of the Banswara‑Dungarpur municipal council election campaign, BJP supporter Sita Deepika Chikhliya held a roadshow in Dungarpur, while Congress staged its own vehicle rally.
The municipal council elections covering Banswara and Dungarpur entered their final campaigning day, with the usual street‑level noise easing but political fervour remaining high in the region.
In Dungarpur, the Bharatiya Janata Party highlighted its outreach by featuring local activist Sita Deepika Chikhliya in a roadshow that toured key market areas. Chikhliya appealed to voters to back the BJP, invoking cultural references and promising development initiatives.
The Indian National Congress responded with a separate vehicle rally, deploying party‑marked trucks and loudspeakers to demonstrate its organisational strength and to mobilise its supporters.
