Senior BJP figure Nitin Naveen kicked off the party's Panchayat election drive in Rajasthan from the state capital, Jaipur, on Monday. The launch marks the first major outreach effort ahead of the upcoming local body polls scheduled later this year.
A fleet of ninety decorated raths, each carrying party workers and campaign material, set off from a rally point in the city. The convoy is planned to travel across key districts, stopping at village squares to interact with rural voters and present the party's development agenda.
