The 2026 mayoral elections across Rajasthan’s municipal bodies saw the Bharatiya Janata Party secure mayoral victories in Udaipur, Pali, Alwar and Ajmer, while the Indian National Congress emerged as the leading party in Bikaner.

Conversely, the Indian National Congress performed strongly in Bikaner, where its candidate emerged as the front‑runner, giving the party a decisive edge in that corporation. Election officials have announced that the full list of elected mayors across all 273 bodies will be published later today, and the results are expected to shape local governance priorities ahead of the upcoming state assembly elections.
