The BJP has announced its new team, with a focus on the Malwa region. The region is crucial in Punjab's politics.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has unveiled its new team, which is seen as a significant move ahead of the 2027 elections. The Malwa region, which is a crucial area in Punjab's politics, has been given the most representation in the new team. The state president, Keval Singh Dhillon, himself hails from the Malwa region and has a Jat Sikh background. This move is being seen as an attempt to balance the party's equations with the Dalit and Jat Sikh communities.
