The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has scheduled a special event for today at its headquarters in New Delhi to honor the 100th birth anniversary of veteran leader Lalan Kumar Advani. Advani, a founding member of the BJP and former Deputy Prime Minister, is remembered for his contributions to the party’s rise at the national level. The centenary of his birth provides an occasion for party members to reflect on his political legacy and reaffirm the values he championed.
While details of the programme remain limited, the party has confirmed that the event will take place at its New Delhi headquarters, where senior officials and party workers are expected to gather. The celebration underscores the BJP’s effort to commemorate its senior leadership and reinforce its historical narrative.
The event is part of a broader series of commemorations planned across the country, marking Advani’s centenary with various activities aimed at honoring his contributions to Indian politics.
