The Bharatiya Janata Party plans a lotus‑inspired exterior for its upcoming state headquarters in Lucknow, according to reports.
The Bharatiya Janata Party is set to unveil a new state office building in Lucknow that could sport a lotus‑shaped façade, sources say. The design concept aims to reflect the party’s emblem while adding a distinctive architectural element to the capital’s skyline.
Officials have confirmed that the project is underway, but detailed timelines and cost estimates have not been disclosed. The lotus motif, a recurring symbol for the party, is expected to be incorporated into the building's front elevation, giving it a recognizable identity.
Urban planners note that such a design could become a landmark for Lucknow, aligning with the city’s ongoing efforts to modernise its civic infrastructure. The party has not released official renderings yet, leaving the final appearance to be confirmed in the coming months.
