The BJP’s internal blueprint for the upcoming Punjab polls centers on three themes – crime, corruption and caste – as it seeks to shape voter perception.

The Bharatiya Janata Party is reportedly finalising its campaign play‑book for the next Punjab assembly election, with internal documents highlighting three focal points – crime, corruption and caste (referred to as “chitta”).

According to the plan, the party intends to foreground alleged criminal activities and corruption scandals linked to rival candidates, while also mobilising caste‑based narratives to consolidate its voter base.

Political analysts note that such a tri‑fold approach mirrors BJP’s broader national tactics, but stress that success will depend on how the themes resonate with Punjab’s diverse electorate.

The strategy is expected to be rolled out through a mix of ground rallies, targeted social‑media messaging and the selection of candidates who can embody the three Cs narrative.

As of now, the party has not issued an official comment on the document, and opposition parties have dismissed the approach as a political ploy.
