On Tuesday, a public rally was organised in Indore to welcome two senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The procession started near Rajwada and moved through the city’s central arteries, including the busy MG Road corridor, drawing large crowds of supporters.
The rally’s route was blocked with barricades, forcing vehicles to halt and creating a bottleneck that extended for several kilometres. Motorists reported hours‑long standstills, with traffic snarling from Rajwada through MG Road and adjoining side streets.
