The Bharatiya Janata Party announced its new national office-bearers, but the state of Meghalaya was not represented in the list.
In a recent party announcement, the Bharatiya Janata Party revealed a slate of new national office-bearers. The move was made ahead of the upcoming national elections. However, the list did not include any representatives from the northeastern state of Meghalaya. Party officials stated that the appointments were based on seniority and experience. The omission has sparked discussions among local leaders about the party’s outreach in the region.
