The BJP has commenced four anti‑drug 'Nasha Mukt' tours across Punjab, with party chief Amit Shah scheduled to wrap up the campaign in Jalandhar on September 30.
Punjab BJP General Secretary Rajesh Kumar Bagha, who is overseeing the Nasha Mukt Punjab Yatra, announced that the party has completed all logistical arrangements for the four anti‑drug tours under the slogan “Nasha mitaana saara.”
The tours, which began today, will travel through multiple districts of Punjab to raise public awareness about drug abuse, encourage community participation, and reinforce the party’s anti‑drug stance.
Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister and BJP national president, is slated to attend the concluding event of the campaign on 30 September in Jalandhar. His appearance is expected to draw large crowds and underscore the party’s commitment to eradicating narcotics from the state.
The initiative forms part of the BJP’s broader effort to address the drug menace in Punjab, aligning with recent policy statements and outreach programs aimed at curbing substance abuse.
