Party strategist Tarun Chugh said the BJP will contest every seat in Punjab, aiming to attract voters in both urban and rural areas.
The Bharatiya Janata Party has announced that it will field candidates in all 117 constituencies of the upcoming Punjab Legislative Assembly election, party strategist Tarun Chugh said.
Chugh stressed that the party’s agenda is designed to resonate across the state, from the industrial hubs of Ludhiana to the agrarian belt of Malwa, seeking to broaden its appeal beyond traditional strongholds.
This move marks a departure from earlier elections where the BJP contested fewer seats in alliance with regional partners, and it will test the party’s organisational depth in a state where it has historically played a junior role.
The campaign is expected to focus on development, employment generation and national security, targeting both urban middle‑class voters and rural farming communities.
