The Karnataka Legislative Council elections concluded with the Congress party securing a sweeping majority, marking a significant setback for the ruling BJP in the state.
In the aftermath, senior BJP figures publicly targeted Congress stalwart DK Shivakumar, questioning his role in the campaign and the party’s strategy that led to the result.
The party’s statements, delivered through press releases and social media, underscored the BJP’s intent to hold the opposition accountable for what it described as a decisive loss.
