The recent civic elections in Banswara district saw the BJP secure the Banswara board, while the Congress captured the Partapur-Garhi seats; the Kushalgarh board also went to the BJP.
The civic poll in Rajasthan's Banswara district has concluded with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) emerging victorious in the Banswara municipal board. The party also secured control of the Kushalgarh board, reinforcing its presence in the district's local governance.
In contrast, the Indian National Congress managed to win the seats in the Partapur-Garhi area, indicating a mixed verdict among voters across the region. The results reflect a competitive political landscape at the grassroots level, with both major parties retaining pockets of support.
Election officials confirmed the outcomes after counting was completed, and the newly elected representatives are expected to assume office in the coming weeks. The BJP's win in Banswara is likely to influence the party's strategy ahead of upcoming state-level elections, while the Congress will aim to build on its gains in Partapur-Garhi.
