Air India flight AI‑1741, operating a scheduled service from Delhi to Patna, encountered a bird strike as it touched down on the runway of Patna Airport at 07:44 on Monday morning.

The aircraft, carrying 164 passengers, completed the landing without further incident and taxied to the terminal. Crew members followed standard emergency protocols, but no injuries were reported among passengers or crew.

Airport authorities confirmed that the bird strike caused no damage to the aircraft's critical systems, and the flight was subsequently cleared for a safe exit. The incident is being logged with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation for routine review.

Officials emphasized that bird strikes are a known aviation hazard and that routine wildlife management measures are in place at Indian airports to mitigate such risks.
