The victim, identified as Ravindra Yadav, was riding his cycle on the Patna-Bakhtiyarpur four-lane road when the incident took place. The bike-borne assailants shot Yadav in the head from behind, leaving him critically injured. After receiving primary treatment, Yadav was referred to a hospital in Patna for further medical attention.
