Bihar Youth Poet Gains Fame

Aks Samastipuri, a resident of Narhan village in Vibhutipur block of Samastipur district, wrote a poem around five years ago. The poem, which talks about the new generation knowing how to revolt, has made him a known figure at the national level. The lines 'hakon ki ye hifazat janti hain, nai naslen bagawat janti hain' have become a voice for the student movement. Aks Samastipuri's poem has been widely appreciated and has brought him recognition at the national level.
