A young man was killed in a road accident on NH-28 in Bihar's Samastipur district. The victim was on his way to take a dip in the Ganga with his mother.
The incident occurred on Friday when the youth, identified as Manish Kumar, was traveling with his mother on a scooter. A truck collided with their vehicle, resulting in Manish's death. His mother is reported to be in a critical condition. The accident led to a three-hour traffic jam on the national highway. Manish was a resident of Muzaffarpur and worked as an ameen in the Kanti area.
