A primary school in a Bihar village has launched offline digital lessons, reaching 660 pupils using pre‑loaded content.
The school, located in a remote village of Bihar, has introduced a digital learning programme that does not rely on an active internet connection. Educational software and multimedia resources have been pre‑installed on devices that students can access directly in the classroom.
By using locally stored content, the initiative circumvents the connectivity challenges that many rural schools face, allowing teachers to deliver interactive lessons in subjects such as mathematics, science and language arts.
The programme currently serves 660 students, and school officials say it has already improved engagement and attendance. The model is being watched by education authorities as a potential blueprint for other underserved areas across the state.
