The Bihar government will construct a multi-storey Vidya Bhavan equipped with modern facilities on Buddha Marg in Patna. The building will house various offices and directorates of the state Education Department.
The proposed Vidya Bhavan will be built within the existing Text Book Office premises on Buddha Marg, a prominent location in Patna. Officials said the multi-storey structure is intended to provide a centralized workspace for the Education Department’s various wings.
The building will feature modern amenities such as advanced IT infrastructure, conference rooms, and adequate space for record keeping and public service counters. By consolidating multiple offices under one roof, the department aims to improve administrative efficiency and ease of access for stakeholders.
Once completed, the facility is expected to streamline coordination between different directorates and field offices, reducing the need for officials to travel across the city for inter-departmental meetings. The project reflects the state’s focus on upgrading government infrastructure to support better service delivery.
