Following a deadly crush that left seven devotees dead and 25 injured on the third Monday, authorities are deploying barricades, queue lines, drones and extra forces for the upcoming fourth Monday at Ashok Dham.

A crowd surge on the third Monday of the pilgrimage at Ashok Dham in Bihar resulted in seven fatalities and 25 injuries among devotees. The incident prompted urgent calls for tighter crowd management ahead of the next scheduled gathering.

In response, the district administration has announced a comprehensive security plan for the fourth Monday. A controlled queue will be established from the railway station to the temple's garbhagriha, reinforced by physical barricades. Two aerial drones will monitor crowd movement in real time, while additional police and paramilitary personnel will be posted at critical points.

Officials said the measures aim to prevent any repeat of the tragedy and ensure a safe passage for the expected influx of pilgrims. The deployment reflects a coordinated effort between local police, the railway authority and disaster management teams to maintain order during the high‑traffic religious event.
