The Bihar government will reward content creators with ₹10,000 for each video on its schemes that reaches 100,000 views.
Patna, Bihar – The state government has announced an incentive programme that will credit ₹10,000 to any creator whose video on a Bihar government scheme garners 100,000 views. The move is aimed at leveraging digital platforms to spread awareness about the various welfare initiatives launched by the administration.
Under the scheme, creators are required to produce content that explains or promotes a specific government programme. Once the video achieves the stipulated view count, the creator becomes eligible for the cash reward, which will be disbursed by the relevant department.
Officials said the incentive is expected to encourage wider dissemination of information, especially among younger audiences who consume news and updates primarily through online video channels. The policy reflects the government's broader push to use social media as a tool for public outreach.
