The student movement that has been gaining momentum in Delhi and Patna has prompted the Samastipur district administration to go on high alert. According to SP Arvind Pratap Singh, the law and order situation is under control and the police are prepared to tackle any situation that may arise. The Quick Response Team (QRT) has been deployed and security has been tightened with the deployment of tear gas launchers.
