Bihar's Economic Offences Unit has arrested biometric operator Atul Raj Pandey in a probe into alleged rigging of the BPSC AEDO exam, revealing links to a solver gang and a conspiracy to control multiple exam centres.

The Bihar Economic Offences Unit (EOU) has detained biometric operator Atul Raj Pandey in connection with a probe into alleged rigging of the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) Assistant Executive Development Officer (AEDO) examination.

Pandey, who operated biometric verification machines at several exam centres, is said to have been a member of a solver gang that allegedly manipulated test results. Investigators say he played a key role in coordinating the activities that allowed the gang to tamper with scores.

The arrest also uncovered a conspiracy to manage multiple exam centres, with Pandey reportedly acting as a liaison between the gang and centre officials. The EOU claims that this network was designed to influence outcomes across several locations.

During interrogation, several other individuals implicated in the scheme were named, and the EOU is continuing its investigation to identify all parties involved and to prevent future occurrences of exam fraud.
