Bihar CM vows swift justice, reveals Jamui survivor's identity, calls Tejashwi ignorant

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday announced that the state government will ensure a fast-tracked legal process for the recent incident in Jamui district. He publicly disclosed the name of the sole survivor of the attack, a step he said would aid the investigation and provide closure to the victim's family.
In his remarks, Kumar accused opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav of being "ignorant" about the facts surrounding the case, urging the political rival to refrain from spreading misinformation. The CM emphasized that the administration is committed to delivering justice without delay, and that all necessary resources will be mobilised to support the survivor and prosecute the perpetrators.
The survivor, whose identity was revealed for the first time, has been receiving medical care and counselling. Authorities have lodged a First Information Report and are pursuing leads to apprehend those responsible. Kumar urged the public to cooperate with law enforcement and assured that the case will be handled transparently.
