Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary highlighted Bihar’s progress, saying the state’s development has accelerated during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25‑year tenure.
Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary addressed reporters on Thursday, stating that Bihar’s development trajectory has picked up pace since Narendra Modi assumed national leadership. He recounted a series of gains the state has recorded over the past quarter‑century, attributing the momentum to policies and programmes launched by the central government.
Choudhary emphasized that the cumulative effect of central schemes, infrastructure projects and investment incentives has translated into tangible improvements across the state. While he did not disclose detailed statistics, he noted that the overall environment for growth has become markedly more favourable.
The chief minister’s remarks come as Bihar seeks to consolidate its economic and social progress ahead of upcoming state elections. By linking the state’s achievements to Modi’s tenure, Choudhary underscored the political partnership between the state and the centre.
Analysts view the statement as an effort to reinforce the narrative of collaborative development, positioning Bihar as a beneficiary of the central government’s agenda over the last 25 years.
