Bihar CM Honors Commonwealth Games Medalists on National Sports Day

On National Sports Day, Bihar's Chief Minister honored Commonwealth Games medalists and other sports personnel at Pataliputra Sports Complex, presenting 12 athletes with symbolic awards.
On National Sports Day, Bihar’s Chief Minister Samrat visited the Pataliputra Sports Complex in Patna to honor athletes who clinched medals at the Commonwealth Games. The ceremony also recognised coaches and referees who contributed to the state’s sporting success.
A total of twelve athletes were presented with symbolic awards by the CM, underscoring the state’s commitment to nurturing sporting talent. The event highlighted the achievements of Bihar’s sports community and served as an inspiration for upcoming athletes.
In addition to the symbolic recognitions, CM Samrat presented a monetary honor to Somn Ranna and Zhandu Kumar, acknowledging their exceptional performances at the Commonwealth Games.
