The Bihar cabinet, originally scheduled to meet on 26 August, was postponed but reconvened on Wednesday with a revised agenda.
During the session, the government gave the green light to a new 700‑acre industrial area aimed at boosting local manufacturing and employment.
In addition, the student credit card scheme was extended for an extra five years, providing continued financial support to students across the state.
