The corridor, which will run through key pilgrimage sites, is expected to attract more visitors and generate employment opportunities for local communities.
In addition to the infrastructure plan, the cabinet also sanctioned new hiring for various state departments, aiming to strengthen public service delivery.
State officials said the corridor will be developed in phases and will include modern amenities for pilgrims and tourists.
