The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has pushed back the deadline for matric and intermediate exam applications to 31 October, giving students extra time to register.
Patna, Oct 16 — The Bihar School Examination Board announced on Monday that the online application window for the upcoming Class 10 (Matric) and Class 12 (Intermediate) examinations has been extended. Originally slated to close on 16 October, the deadline is now set for 31 October, allowing candidates to complete their registrations without penalty.
The extension comes after several student groups raised concerns about limited internet access and the short notice given for the original deadline. BSEB officials said the decision aims to ensure a smoother enrollment process and to accommodate students from remote districts.
Applicants are required to log in to the official BSEB portal, fill in personal and academic details, and pay the prescribed fee before the new cut‑off date. The board reiterated that all other examination schedules, including exam dates and result announcements, remain unchanged.
Students are advised to keep their documents ready and verify the entered information carefully to avoid any discrepancies that could affect their eligibility. Further updates will be posted on the BSEB website and its official social media channels.
