The Bihar School Examination Board has pushed back the last date for filing applications for the 2026 Class 10 and Class 12 annual exams to October 24, giving eligible students additional time to register.
The Bihar School Examination Board announced that the deadline for submitting registration forms for the 2026 Class 10 (Matric) and Class 12 (Intermediate) annual examinations has been extended to 24 October. The decision provides a few extra days for students who were unable to complete the online application process within the earlier timeframe.
Eligible candidates—those who have passed the previous grade and meet the board’s eligibility criteria—can now log onto the official BSEB portal and complete the required steps, including uploading documents and paying the examination fee. The board has reiterated that all submissions must be finalized before the new cut‑off to avoid disqualification.
The extension aims to ensure broader participation in the state‑run examinations, which are crucial for students’ academic progression and eligibility for higher‑education admissions. Officials have urged students to verify their details carefully and submit the forms promptly to prevent any last‑minute technical glitches.
