Bihar: 2 Officials Caught Taking Bribe

In a major crackdown on corruption, the Vigilance Investigation Bureau conducted a raid at the district council office in Banka, Bihar. During the raid, two officials, Engineer Omprakash Mandal and employee Jageshwar Mandal, were caught red-handed taking a bribe of 1.26 lakh rupees. The action was taken as part of the bureau's efforts to curb corruption in the state. The officials were arrested on the spot and further investigation is underway.
