Bihar: 100 Wireless Sets Seized

In a significant operation, the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has seized a large consignment of wireless communication devices near the India-Nepal border in Bihar. The SSB personnel intercepted the smugglers near the Niyour border outpost in Supaul district and recovered 100 wireless sets, including 50 walkie-talkies and 50 two-way portable radios. The devices were being taken to Nepal when they were seized. The SSB has arrested three people in connection with the seizure. The central agencies have launched an investigation into the matter.
