Bidar Lawyers Association Honours Shivayya Swami with Honorary Doctorate
Bidar: Shivayya Swami, member of the Central Government's State Development, Coordination and Monitoring Committee, who received an honorary doctorate from Bidar University, was felicitated by the District Lawyers Association in Bidar. The event took place at the association's office located within the District Court premises.
Sanjay Mathapati, president of the association, honored Shivayya Swami by tying a Mysore peta, draping a shawl, and presenting a floral garland. Sanjay Mathapati praised Shivayya Swami for his involvement in social welfare activities and stated that the honorary doctorate awarded by Bidar University enhances the prestige of the doctorate. Other dignitaries present included Vice President Sanjeevkumar Babashetti, General Secretary Jagannath Soralli, Joint Secretary Udaykumar Moolge, Treasurer Shivalila Kodage, former President Sanmukayya Swami, and lawyers Satish Kulkarni, Keerthiraj Poste, Sanjay Patil among others.
