Bhubaneswar police have dismissed Assistant Sub-Inspector Rajesh Kullu and two home guards from service following their apprehension in a bribery case. The dismissal was carried out under Article 311(2)(b) of the Constitution.

The Commissionerate Police in Bhubaneswar has taken decisive action by dismissing Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Rajesh Kullu from service. The dismissal comes a day after Kullu, attached to Mancheswar police station, was apprehended by the state Vigilance department in a bribery case.

Along with ASI Kullu, a home guard driver, Jyoti Ranjan Behera, who was also caught in the bribery incident, has been dismissed. Furthermore, a third home guard has also been terminated from service. The police have invoked Article 311(2)(b) of the Constitution of India for these dismissals, which pertains to dismissing a public servant in the interest of the security of the state.
