Bhopal Woman Accuses Rajgarh Man of 4½-Year Sexual Exploitation via Instagram

A woman from Pipilani, Bhopal alleges that a Rajgarh resident named Adil befriended her on Instagram, pretended to marry her, and subjected her to sexual relations for about four and a half years while pressuring her to convert religion and pray.
A resident of Pipilani in Bhopal has lodged a formal complaint alleging that a man identified as Adil, originally from Rajgarh, initiated contact with her through Instagram. The complainant says the online friendship quickly turned into promises of marriage, which she later discovered were false.
According to the statement, the relationship continued for roughly four and a half years during which the woman was repeatedly forced into sexual acts. She also claims that Adil repeatedly urged her to abandon her faith, adopt Hindu practices and begin regular prayers, creating a sustained pressure to convert.
Local Hindu organisations, upon learning of the allegations, intervened and detained the accused. The matter has been handed over to police authorities in Bhopal for further investigation, and the woman is seeking legal action against the suspect.
