Traffic police in Bhopal have set up diversions on several major routes from Friday evening through Saturday, ahead of Union Home Minister Amit Shah's visit, with additional changes planned for the BHEL area.
Traffic police in Bhopal announced that a series of road diversions will be in effect from Friday evening until Saturday, coinciding with Union Home Minister Amit Shah's scheduled visit to the city.
The diversions affect several arterial roads, including routes near the central business district and access points to major government offices. Motorists are being directed to alternative paths that have been clearly signposted.
Police officials have urged commuters to plan their journeys in advance, avoid the affected corridors where possible, and follow the instructions of traffic personnel on the ground.
In addition to the city‑wide changes, a separate set of diversions is slated for the BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd.) area on Saturday to ensure smooth movement of security convoys and related personnel.
