Around 300 students from a regional school in Bhopal staged a protest against the proposed merger of DMS into a central school, demanding that the merger not take place.
In Bhopal, a group of 300 to 400 students from a regional school took to the streets for the first time to voice their opposition to the proposed merger of the DMS campus into a central school. The protest, which unfolded on a local road, saw students carrying posters that read "We will not allow DMS to merge into KV."
The demonstrators handed a memorandum to the principal of the school, outlining their concerns and demanding that the merger be halted. The students argued that merging would dilute the identity and quality of education at the DMS campus.
While the protest was peaceful, it highlighted the growing unrest among students and parents over administrative decisions that affect local educational institutions. The school administration has yet to respond publicly to the demands raised by the students.
