Bhopal police have apprehended a six-member gang from Bihar suspected of stealing approximately ₹9 lakh from eight ATMs using a master key within a 15-day period.
Bhopal police have successfully apprehended a six-member gang hailing from Bihar in connection with a series of ATM thefts. The group is alleged to have stolen a significant sum of money, estimated to be around ₹9 lakh, from eight automated teller machines.
Authorities stated that the gang utilized a master key to gain access to the ATMs, enabling them to carry out the thefts over a span of approximately 15 days. The State Bank of India (SBI) ATMs are among those targeted in this operation.
The arrests were made in Bhopal, marking a significant breakthrough for the local police in tackling organized ATM fraud.
