To date, 5,778 notices have been issued to businesses operating in these areas.
The notices come with a 24‑hour ultimatum: establishments must either cease operations or comply with municipal directives, or they will face sealing of premises.
The move aims to curb noise, traffic congestion and other disturbances that residents have complained about, while ensuring that commercial use of residential land remains within legal limits.
