Bhopal police commissioner has imposed a ban on protests, strikes, and related activities at Roshanpura intersection from 19 October for the next two months.
Bhopal police commissioner has issued a directive prohibiting all forms of protest, strike, rally, and even effigy burning at the Roshanpura intersection. The ban will be enforced from 19 October and will remain in effect for the next two months.
The order covers a wide range of public demonstrations, including marches, sit‑ins, and any organized gatherings that could disrupt normal traffic or public safety at the intersection.
Law enforcement officials say the restriction is intended to maintain order and prevent potential clashes or accidents in the busy traffic hub.
The ban is expected to lift around 19 December, after which normal activities can resume under standard regulations.
