The Bhopal Municipal Corporation has been paying for the upkeep of 47 buffaloes housed at the Aravalli Kanchi House. Over the last ten months, the cost of their feed has exceeded ₹16 lakh. A court case has prevented the auction of the animals, leaving the municipality to continue covering the expenses. The delay has raised concerns about the efficient use of public funds.
