The Bhopal Food Safety Department conducted a dawn raid on the Mangalwara market, seizing 89 kg of suspect ghee and 171 kg of suspect paneer from two storage units. Samples are under laboratory testing.

The Food Safety Department of Bhopal carried out a dawn raid on the Mangalwara market early this morning, targeting two storage units suspected of holding illegal dairy products. Officials seized a total of 260 kilograms of suspect goods – 89 kilograms of ghee and 171 kilograms of paneer – which were stored in the two warehouses. The seized items are being sent to a state‑approved laboratory for detailed testing to confirm contamination or adulteration. The raid is part of a broader effort to enforce food safety regulations and protect consumers from potentially harmful products.
