In November, Indian Railways launched 24 special trains from the Bhopal division to ease travel during Diwali and Chhath, with heightened security at Bhopal, Rani Kamalapati, Beena, Guna, and Itarsi stations and ATVM ticketing facilities.

Indian Railways has introduced 24 special trains from the Bhopal division in November to accommodate the surge in passenger traffic during the Diwali and Chhath festivals. The trains, running between major junctions in Madhya Pradesh, are scheduled to provide timely connectivity for holidaymakers.

To ensure passenger safety, security measures have been intensified at five key stations: Bhopal, Rani Kamalapati, Beena, Guna, and Itarsi. Additional staff, CCTV coverage, and crowd control protocols have been deployed to manage the increased footfall.

The railway authorities have also kept the Automatic Ticket Vending Machine (ATVM) service operational at these stations, allowing travelers to purchase tickets conveniently without long queues. The initiative aims to streamline travel and reduce congestion during the festive season.
