Bhopal attempts three world records on Vande Mataram’s 150th anniversary

On the occasion of Vande Mataram’s 150th anniversary, Bhopal staged a massive cultural showcase aimed at securing three separate entries in the Golden Book of World Records. The programme brought together a wide array of participants from local schools and cultural groups.\n\nThe event featured a synchronized performance of 43 musical instruments, a choir of 200 students singing the national song, and a Kathak segment performed by more than 150 female students. All three components were executed simultaneously to meet the record‑making criteria.\n\nOrganisers said the coordination was overseen by the Madhya Pradesh Education Department, with support from municipal authorities and media representatives who documented the attempt.\n\nIf the attempt is validated, the records will be recorded as the largest ensemble of instruments, singers and Kathak dancers assembled for a single patriotic celebration in India.
