The Rajasthan state electricity board has announced a scheduled power shutdown in Bhilwara district from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on October 26 to carry out maintenance work.
The Rajasthan State Electricity Board (RSEB) has scheduled a power outage in Bhilwara district for today, October 26, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The shutdown is part of routine maintenance work on the local distribution network. Residents in the affected areas are advised to plan their activities accordingly and keep essential appliances powered by backup sources.
The outage will affect several sub-stations across Bhilwara, including the main supply points in the city centre and surrounding villages. Local authorities have set up information booths and posted notices on community boards to inform the public about the timing and expected duration of the cut.
Officials have assured that the power supply will be restored promptly after the maintenance is completed. They urged citizens to avoid using high‑power appliances during the outage period to reduce strain on the grid once power is restored.
The RSEB has also released a contact number for residents to report any issues or seek clarification regarding the scheduled shutdown. The board thanked the community for their cooperation and understanding during the maintenance work.
