The Bharatiya Kisan Union (Lakhowal) has finalized arrangements for a mass protest scheduled on September 1 in Mohali, Punjab.
Mohali, Punjab – The Bharatiya Kisan Union (Lakhowal) announced that it has completed logistical preparations for a large‑scale farmer protest slated for September 1. The union’s spokesperson said that rally points, transport arrangements and accommodation for participating farmers have been set up across the city.
The organizers are mobilising members from surrounding districts, coordinating with local transport providers to ensure smooth movement of thousands of farmers to the protest site. Food stalls, medical aid stations and security volunteers are also being arranged to manage the crowd safely.
