A woman who paid Rs 1.03 crore for a 3‑bedroom flat in Bengaluru says the developer has not delivered the specially‑enabled parking space that was part of the agreement.
A resident of Bengaluru, identified only as a woman buyer, purchased a three‑bedroom apartment in a newly launched project for Rs 1.03 crore, according to a filing with local authorities.
The purchase agreement included a specially‑enabled parking slot intended for persons with disabilities, a feature that the developer advertised as part of the unit’s amenities.
The buyer alleges that, months after possession, the builder has not provided the promised parking space, prompting her to lodge a complaint with the Karnataka Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA).
RERA officials said they have opened an inquiry and will examine the developer’s compliance with the contract and applicable regulations. The case highlights growing consumer concerns over unfulfilled promises in the city’s booming real‑estate market.
The builder, Karna Group, has not yet responded publicly to the allegations.
