Ahead of his potential T20 debut, 15-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi will be accompanied by his parents on tours to England and Ireland, a decision made by the BCCI.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to facilitate the travel of 15-year-old cricketer Vaibhav Suryavanshi's parents to accompany him on upcoming tours to England and Ireland. This move comes as Suryavanshi is on the verge of a potential T20 international debut.
BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia stated that the decision aims to help the young player adapt to the senior team's environment. The board believes that having his parents present will provide the necessary support and comfort for Suryavanshi as he integrates into the national setup.
The BCCI also reportedly dismissed speculations regarding any action concerning the Sri Lanka-A team controversy, focusing instead on player development and support.
